We begin the tour with a pick-up direct from your accommodation in the historic center of Cusco. It is of utmost importance to be ready on time within the established window:
We will travel in a tourist transport for about 3 hours to the community of Pacchanta, a strategic high-mountain point located at more than 4,200 m a.s.l. (13,779 ft).
Enjoy a local breakfast to acclimatize and prepare for the hike. Hot herbal tea and energy-boosting foods are provided.
Valid if the option with meals is selectedWe begin the trek through landscapes surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, Andean flora, and alpacas. Along the way, we will visit the stunning lakes: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha, Orco Otorongo, and Patacocha, all dazzling with their intense colors.
At the end of the trek, you will have free time to optionally submerge yourself in the medicinal and natural hot springs of Pacchanta, featuring a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountains.
We will enjoy a comforting, homemade lunch made with local products, prepared directly by the host community.
