From 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

The tour starts with a pickup from your accommodation in Cusco’s historic center. Please be ready on time.

Travel to Pacchanta
5:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

We’ll travel by tourist transport for about 3 hours to the community of Pacchanta, located at over 4,200 meters (13,780 ft) above sea level.

Traditional Andean Breakfast
08:00 a.m.

Enjoy a local breakfast to acclimate and prepare for the hike. Hot herbal infusions and energy foods will be provided.

Start of the hike to the 7 lagoons
8:30 a.m.

We begin the trek through high mountain landscapes, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, Andean flora, and alpacas.

Visit to the 7 lagoons of Ausangate
08:30 a.m. – 13:00 p.m.

Along the hike, we will visit the lagoons Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha, Orco Otorongo, and Patacocha. Each will amaze you with its vibrant colors and natural surroundings.

Pacchanta hot springs (optional)
13:00 p.m.

At the end of the trek, you’ll have free time to optionally soak in the natural hot springs of Pacchanta, overlooking the snow-capped mountains.

Andean lunch
13:30 p.m.

We’ll enjoy a homemade lunch prepared with local products by the host community.

Return to Cusco city
14:30 – 17:30 p.m.

After lunch, we board private transport back to Cusco, enjoying the scenic rural Andean landscape along the way.
