Day 2: Colca — Condor's Cross — Sangalle Oasis

Departure to Condor's Cross

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to the famous viewpoint to witness the immensity of one of the deepest canyons in the world. Includes an approximate 40-minute hike along the cliffside trails.

Free time to capture the majestic flight of the Andean condors as they ride the thermal currents. Guided talk regarding their high ecological and Inca value.

Beginning of the Descent (San Miguel Viewpoint)

Official start of the trek into the heart of the canyon. Spot local flora (giant cacti), traditional farming plots, and panoramic views of the winding Colca River.

Early morning departure to begin the challenging, steep zigzag climb. The effort is rewarded with spectacular sunrise views over the canyon.
