DAY 1

Cusco — Hidroeléctrica — Aguas Calientes

Gathering at Cusco's Main Square / Plaza de Armas (BCP ATM, corner of Espaderos Street) to board our tourist transportation.

We cross the historic town of the Sacred Valley. Passengers who coordinated their boarding at this specific point will join the group here.

Transit Through Santa María & Santa Teresa

Descent through the eastern slope of the Andes, passing through the scenic towns of Santa María and Santa Teresa as we enter the high jungle brow.

Arrival at Hidroeléctrica to enjoy the included lunch. Afterwards, we begin the exciting 11 km (approx. 3-hour) hike along the railway tracks toward Aguas Calientes.

Arrival in Aguas Calientes & Check-in

Arrival in town, check-in at the assigned hostel, and a brief informational meeting (briefing) with our tour guide to coordinate the details for the next day's visit.

Dinner in Aguas Calientes

Enjoy a relaxing included dinner in the picturesque town, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Perfect for recovering energy after the trek.

DAY 2

Exploring the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu

Ascent to the Citadel

You can choose to ride the shuttle bus (purchasing the $12 USD ticket in town) or take the uphill hike along the stone step trails starting at 4:00 AM.

Arrival at the main entrance of Machu Picchu to meet your professional official guide and enter by presenting your printed documents and passport.

A guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours through the circuits of the great Inca citadel, exploring its key archaeological zones and capturing iconic photos.

Afternoon

Return & Second Night in Aguas Calientes

Descend to the town of Aguas Calientes in the afternoon to rest, explore the local handicraft market, and spend your second night at the hostel.

DAY 3

Aguas Calientes — Hidroeléctrica — Cusco

Return Trek to Hidroeléctrica

Begin the return hike following the railway route back to Hidroeléctrica station, aiming to arrive no later than 2:00 PM.

Boarding the Return Vehicle

Check-in at the authorized parking areas in Hidroeléctrica to board our comfortable tourist minibus back to Cusco.

Arrival in Cusco Downtown

Estimated arrival at Plaza Regocijo in the heart of Cusco's historic center, concluding all tour services.
