DAY 1

Sacred Valley Adventure & Train Journey

Hotel Pickup & Tour Departure

We will pick you up directly from your centrally located hotel in Cusco to board our shared transportation and begin the journey toward the legendary Sacred Valley of the Incas.

A brief stop at this strategic panoramic vantage point to take in the first classic views of the stunning valley and the Vilcanota River.

Pisaq Archaeological Site

A guided tour to explore the impressive agricultural terraces, ancient residential sectors, and cliffside cemeteries located at the top of the mountain.

Buffet Lunch in Urubamba

We head to the heart of the valley in the town of Urubamba to enjoy a refreshing and diverse buffet lunch featuring traditional dishes and local ingredients.

Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site

We explore the majestic living Inca fortress, climbing up its massive stone terraces while learning about its rich military and religious history.

Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes

Arrive at the station to board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, you will head to your accommodation independently to rest. Lodging is not included in this program

We board the Consettur shuttle bus for a 30-minute ascent along the winding switchback road that leads to the entrance of the mystical and incredible "Lost City of the Incas."

An approximate 2.5-hour guided exploration through the citadel's core highlights: the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Quarters, and the Temple of the Three Windows.

Return to Aguas Calientes

Recommended time to take the Consettur shuttle bus back down to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Arrival at Ollantaytambo train station, where we will be waiting to transfer you by tourist shuttle bus back to the city of Cusco.
