Day 3: Puno — Sillustani — Puno

Pickup and start of the activity. This applies only if your hotel is located within the historic downtown area.

Departure by tourist bus to Sillustani

Along the way, we will make a brief stop at the Puma Uta Viewpoint, where you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Puno and Lake Titicaca.

Arrival at the Sillustani Archaeological Complex

Located on the Umayo Lake peninsula. We will begin a guided tour of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, visiting:

  • The Chullpas or funerary towers, up to 12 meters high, built by the Kolla, Lupaca, and Inca cultures.
  • An explanation of the burial rituals and the symbolism behind these “Houses of the Dead”.
  • Observation of the natural surroundings: Lake Umayo and its peninsula, which offer a unique Andean landscape perfect for photography.
  • Free time to walk around, appreciate the views, and connect with the energy of the site.

Arrival in Puno and transfer to your hotel

Arrival in Puno and drop-off at your hotel, or near the Plaza Mayor if you prefer to continue exploring the city on your own.
