ITINERARY

DAY 1: Cusco – Santa Maria
Pickup in Cusco
We will pick you up from your hotel at around 6:00 a.m. Travel through the picturesque Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing the Vilcabamba and Vilcanota mountain ranges, and the town of Chinchero. Stop to explore the ancient Inca town of Ollantaytambo.
Biking Adventure
Continue by car to Abra Málaga Pass (4,350 m / 14,271 ft), where you’ll receive a safety briefing and biking tutorial. Begin an exciting 60 km downhill bike ride, taking in breathtaking views of Mount Veronica.
Lunch Stop
Stop at the fascinating Incan site of Huamanmarca for lunch and explore the ruins. Take part in a thrilling 1.5-hour whitewater rafting experience in Santa Maria.
Transfer to Santa Maria
Hop back in the vehicle and enjoy scenic views as you drive to Santa Maria.
Check-in at Santa Maria
Arrival and check-in at your lodge. Enjoy a hot shower and time to relax.

6:00 AM | Start your day with a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant.
Trekking Begins
Begin the day’s adventure with a 45-minute walk along a vehicle path. Enter the original Inca Trail, once used to connect Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba, the last Inca capital.
Lunch in Quellomayo
Stop in the charming village of Quellomayo for lunch at a local restaurant. Take time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the surroundings.
Afternoon Hike
Continue hiking for 3.5 hours along the Vilcanota River.
Cocalmayo Hot Springs
Arrive at the rejuvenating Cocalmayo Hot Springs and enjoy a relaxing soak.
Check-in at Santa Teresa
Walk for 45 minutes to reach the town of Santa Teresa. Check into a cozy guesthouse and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Breakfast
6:30 AM | Wake up and fuel up with a delicious breakfast.
Zipline Adventure
8:00 AM | Zipline company picks you up and transfers you to the zipline base. After a brief orientation, enjoy a 2-hour ziplining experience across four ziplines and a hanging bridge.
Lunch & Transfer to Hidroelectrica
Afterward, take a 1-hour drive to Hidroelectrica and enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
Hike to Aguas Calientes
Embark on a scenic 3-hour hike along the railway tracks from Hidroelectrica to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Check-in at Aguas Calientes
Arrive in Aguas Calientes, check into your hotel, and take some time to relax and recharge.
Arrival at Machu Picchu
Depart from Aguas Calientes at 4:00 AM after breakfast. Choose between a 1.5-hour hike or a 25-minute bus ride to the main entrance of Machu Picchu (bus ticket: $12).
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Enter with a scheduled ticket (Circuit 01 or 02). Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour with a professional guide exploring the most iconic areas of the citadel.
Free Time & Optional Hikes
Enjoy some free time to relax or explore further. Optional hikes: Huayna Picchu (2 hours round-trip – advance booking required – $30), Machu Picchu Mountain (3 hours round-trip – advance booking required – $30)
Return Hike to Hidroelectrica
Between 11:00 and 11:30 AM, begin the 3-hour return hike to Hidroelectrica.
Bus Departure
Board the return bus to Cusco at 2:00 PM.
Arrival in Cusco
Arrive in Cusco between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM (approx. 6-hour journey).
