Machu Picchu Full Day by Train

ITINERARY

FULL DAY: Cusco | Ollantaytambo | Aguas Calientes | Machu Picchu
Pickup and Transfer
03:30 / 04:10 am – Pickup from your hotel. You will be transferred by tourist transport to the Ollantaytambo train statio
Train Departure from Ollantaytambo
06:10 am – Board the train heading to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Arrival in Aguas Calientes
07:50 am – Arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, where our guide/transfer will be waiting. Then, board the bus for a 30-minute ride up a winding road to the incredible Machu Picchu, known as the "Lost City of the Incas."
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
09:00 am – Guided visit of the citadel: Main Square, Temple of the Sun, Royal Quarters, Temple of the Three Windows. Duration: approximately 2.5 hours.
Free Time at Machu Picchu
11:30 am – Free time to explore the site on your own, walk around, and take photos.
Return to Aguas Calientes
1:00 pm – Recommended time to take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes.
Lunch & Free Time
2:45 pm – Free time for lunch (included), enjoying the town, visiting the hot springs, or browsing the local artisan market.
Train Station Arrival
5:50 pm – Be present at the train station at this time.
Train Departure to Ollantaytambo
6:20 pm – Train departs for Ollantaytambo.
Arrival in Ollantaytambo
8:05 / 8:20 pm – Arrival at the train station. You’ll be transferred by bus back to Cusco.
Arrival in Cusco
10:30 pm – Arrival in Cusco city.
