DAY 1: Cusco | Ollantaytambo | Aguas Calientes
Hotel Pickup
08:30 / 09:00 am – Pick up from your hotel. The tour begins as we head to the Ollantaytambo Train Station.
Train to Aguas Calientes
11:15 am – Board the train to Aguas Calientes Station.
Check-in at Hotel
1:00 pm – Arrival and check-in at your accommodation in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town).
Free Afternoon
2:00 pm – Free time to explore, visit the hot springs, or discover the town of Aguas Calientes.
Bus to Machu Picchu
07:50 am – Board the bus for a 30-minute scenic ride up a winding road to the amazing Machu Picchu, known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
09:00 am – Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Quarters, and the Temple of the Three Windows. Approx. 2.5 hours.
Free Time at Machu Picchu
11:30 am – Free time to explore the site at your own pace, walk around, and take photos.
Return to Aguas Calientes
1:00 pm – Recommended time to board the bus back to Aguas Calientes.
Free Time in Aguas Calientes
2:45 pm – Free time for lunch, exploring the town, visiting the local hot springs, or shopping at the artisan market.
Arrival at the Train Station
5:50 pm – Please be at the train station by this time.
Train to Ollantaytambo
6:20 pm – Departure from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo by train.
Arrival in Ollantaytambo and Transfer to Cusco
8:05 / 8:20 pm – Arrival at Ollantaytambo Train Station. You will board a tourist bus back to Cusco.
Arrival in Cusco
10:30 pm – Arrival in the city of Cusco.
